Chevrolet Camaro Preview:

Finally, one of the most loved cars of the world is all set to enter India. General Motors had showcased Chevrolet Camaro at the Auto Expo 2016 and it is expected that the upcoming new Chevrolet Camaro will make its entry sometime early next year, i.e., in 2017. As per the reports, the sports car will be available as a coupe as well as convertible but till now there is no sign of a right hand drive. Chevrolet Camaro is currently seen only with a left hand drive. The top-end Camaro is Camaro SS, which has the same 6.2-litre V8 engine as the 2016 Corvette Stingray. 
As far as its features and looks are concerned, the Chevrolet Camaro pictures have created a spur ever since they started making rounds. The Chevrolet Camaro interiors are super stylish and it goes without saying that the sportscar is fully loaded. It will feature high intensity discharge headlights, automatic response system, 21-inch aluminium and steel wheels, ultrasonic sensor, etc. With its awe inspiring design and impressive fascia, the Camaro looks like a mean machine that one would love to lay their hands on. In terms of safety and braking, the car will use a StabiliTrack electronic stability control system with traction control, along with automatic crash response, a head-up display, OnStar turn-by-turn navigation, etc.

Chevrolet Camaro Expected Engine and Transmission:

The expected Chevrolet Camaro specifications would include a 3.6-litre V6 engine with direct injection and variable valve timing. The sportscar engine will be able to produce 312 bhp at 6500 rpm whereas the maximum torque produced will be around 278 Nm at 5100 revs per minute. The top-end Camaro SS will feature a 6.2-litre V8 engine with active fuel management engine that produces 426 bhp at 5900 rpm whereas the torque is 278 Nm at 5100 rpm. The sportscar will feature an automatic transmission with active fuel management.

Chevrolet Camaro Expected Mileage:

The expected Chevrolet Camaro mileage should be around 12.33 kmpl. With the variants featuring active fuel management, the mileage of the car can possibly be slightly more. In fact, if you have a car like Camaro, you’re not worried about the mileage.

The Chevrolet Camaro expected price in India is around Rs. 50 lakh for its base model.

Chevrolet Camaro Expected Launch Date:

Although there aren’t any official confirmations yet but the expected Chevrolet Camaro launch in India is somewhere around early 2017.

Chevrolet Camaro is a vehicle that really needs no introduction. With the price tag of Rs. 50 lakh, it will compete with the likes of Mercedes Benz E Class that starts from Rs. 47.4 lakh and goes up to Rs. 1.3 cr, along with Jaguar XF, Audi TT, etc. All of these cars have best of the features and they compete on a totally different level. Camaro is a car that defines its own rules and why not! It has the power and capability to do that with confidence and ease. The wait for the car is definitely going to be quite difficult because the Indian auto market definitely would love to lay their hands on this piece of machine as soon as possible.
