The Latest Tata Tiago


Tata Tiago has everything it takes to challenge the established rivals in its own strong area as it is based on the Tata’s HORIZONEXT strategy. After the launch of Nano in India, Tiago is the most important product launch for Tata Motors which could brings some good numbers in sales chart every month. To be positioned below Tata Bolt, Tiago to rival Grand i10, Maruti Swift, Honda Brio, Maruti Wagon-R and Chevrolet Beat. Tata Tiago comes with all new design language, full efficient engines and class leading features like Harman infotainment system as well. 22 utility spaces, cornering stability control and many more class leading features available on this ZIppy CAr.

Tata Tiago Price :
Tata is focusing on value and refinement with the Tata Tiago. The prices of this car starts from Rs.3.20 lakhs for base end petrol and end at Rs.5.54 lakhs for top-end diesel variant.


Engine and Specification:
Engines are all new as the petrol engine is all aluminum now and is minus one cylinder and turbo over the Zest when compared. From 1193cc engine, it makes 85 PS but now it makes 114 Nm of torque. Naturally aspirated motor should return 23.84 km/l. Diesel on the other hand is a 1047cc engine which comes from the detuned version of Tata’s own CRAIL engine. The engine makes 70PS and 140 Nm of torque and delivers 27.8 kmpl. Block of the engine is iron and head is aluminum so we can expect good driveability in low-end and high on refinement as well. Like Zest and Bolt, the car will have multi Drive Modes such as ECO, City and Sport. 

Dimensions:
The Tata Tiago hatchback is 3,746mm in length, 1,647mm in width and stands 1,535mm in height. Wheelbase of this hatchback is of 2,400mm and a good ground clearance of 170mm along with 14-inch wheels. The kerb weight of petrol Zica is 1,012kg while of the diesel is 1,080kg. Zica has a turning circle of 4.9 metres.

Colours: White, black, orange, grey, blue are the colors to choose from. More details on the same will follow


Interior: Interior sees a new design which focused towards the center. The center console is very much like the new Maruti premium cars and after that it was seen on the TUV 300 as well. It houses a screen which isn’t equipped with touch interface. There are buttons and knobs to do the job. Interiors look good on quality and finish seems decent enough. Room in the rear more than adequate which should be satisfactory all the way. All black theme continues with these new cars as well. 


Key Features: 
Features wise it gets the Harman infotainment system which has smartphone connection capability that uses Android software as of now. Cooled glovebox, electrically folded mirrors and 8 speakers along with Bluetooth are being made available.  

Safety Features: 
Airbags and ABS will be available on top of the line variants and could go down to lower variants as well as an option or recent trends suggest it could be standard on all variants. ABS, EBD and CSC (Corner Stability Control) will be coming as well.
